SEA TURTLE CARE

Turtle egg nesting is an incredible event in the world of nature. Help turtles protect their eggs by becoming a volunteer. This programme will help you learn more about the turtles whilst being busy with various activities related to taking care of these animals.
DETAILS
During the Sea Turtle Care volunteer programme, you will be doing such tasks as helping with the social and environmental projects, helping to make information boards along the beach, maintaining the sea turtle hatchery infrastructure, going on night walks to protect and monitor sea turtles, collecting data during the nesting season, helping to protect and observe the hatchery nests, helping with reforestation, assisting with overseeing and taking care of the hatchery.
You have to be 18 years of age, possess international travel insurance, have completed criminal background check, and have sent a copy of your passport as you apply.
The minimum duration of this programme is 3 weeks.

During your time as fauna and flora conservationist, you will be doing such tasks as fauna and flora monitoring, helping with the construction and arrangement of paths, giving information to visitors, giving infrastructure maintenance, assisting in some tasks executed by officials, helping with recycling and ecotourism programmes, assisting with environmental education, helping with reforestation.
