What are the Benefits of Becoming an Au Pair in Italy?

During this program, you will have the chance to live in Italy alongside and welcoming and trustworthy host family whilst assuming the role of caring for their children. You will also gain access to all the incredible benefits outlined below:

  • A weekly allowance of 80-120 euros paid to you by your host family
  • Your own private bedroom + full board
  • 2 weeks of paid vacation per year (1 week every 6 months)
  • 5 days off per week with 2 full weekends off per month

Program Information

We currently have 3 different types of Au Pair programs available for you to choose from depending on exactly what it is you are looking to gain from your experience abroad:

Au Pair in Italy: 30 hours per week

Demi Au Pair in Italy: 20/25 hours per week

English tutor in Italy: To tutor host family for up to 15 hours per week

Requirements

  • Must be between 18 and 30 years of age
  • Must have graduated at GCSE level or equivalent
  • Be in good physical and mental health
  • Must have a clear criminal background
  • Have obtained some experience in child care
  • Have a flexible schedule and be prepared to commit to several months abroad

Required Documents

  • A completed application form
  • 2 childcare references
  • 1 character reference if possible
  • A copy of your medical report
  • List of any allergies or dietary requirements
  • Clean police report
  • ID (valid passport)
  • At least 1 photo of yourself

Step by Step Guide to Starting your Au Pair Journey

Step 1: Fill out our online Application Form

Find out if you’re eligible for our Au Pair Program by filling out our online application form today!

Step 2: Finding you a host Family

Once your application has been accepted, it’s time to begin the process in pairing you up with the perfect host family. Interviews will be conducted either in person or over a video call with potential host families. You will have the chance to talk to a selection of families which we feel are a good potential match until you find the perfect match.

Step 3: Signing of the Agreement

Both parties will be given a copy of the agreement which will need to be signed and returned to us before we proceed with any final booking arrangements

Step 4: Next stop, Italy!

Once both yourself and your host family have signed the agreement, it’s then time to book your flights out to Italy!

Our administration and management fee to handle your application for this program is £420 ($798 AUD) and will need to be paid to us following your application being accepted.
